Main Effect:

The performer hands a sealed prediction to a spectator. He then introduces a pair of dice in order to “create a true situation of randomness by rolling dice.”  It’s also noted that the dice are blank --- thus, eliminating the possibility of “loaded dice”.

The first spectator is instructed to “roll the dice” and use his powers of imagination to see the outcome of the roll. Example: If he mentally sees 4 spots on one die and 3 spots on the other die, he is to enter the total (7) in a calculator which is provided.

This process is repeated with spectator #2. #3, and #4 (the number of spectators involved is unlimited). The last spectator presses the equal (=) key and makes note of the total on the calculator display screen.

Any spectator opens the sealed prediction and it matches the calculator total !

Notes:

·         The calculator does 95% of the work.

·         The use of the dice allows the spectators to become very interactive --- they love to “put on a show” rolling the dice.

·         You can do a routine by having the spectators merely think of any 2 ,3 ,4 or 5 digit numbers. The calculator does all the work.

·         You can demonstrate how to use the calculator which controls for a successful performance and also shows that the calculator is “legit”.

·         No mathematical formulas used. The calculator’s hardware outputs the number that you want (up to 8 digits long).
